**Usman Kobo Yunusa** Usman Kobo Yunusa is a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai (IBBUL), Nigeria. He holds a First-Class Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from IBBUL, where he graduated as the best student in his department. His academic and research interests encompass renewable energy technologies, solar photovoltaic systems, materials science, nanotechnology, and computational materials physics. He is particularly interested in the development of sustainable and climate-resilient energy materials through computational modelling, density functional theory (DFT), and experimental investigation. As an academic, he is actively involved in undergraduate teaching, laboratory instruction, research supervision, and scientific research. His long-term research ambition is to advance innovative materials and renewable energy technologies that contribute to sustainable energy development and address emerging energy challenges in Nigeria and beyond.

"Green Synthesis and Structural Characterization of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles Using Organic Starch as Capping Agents"
Developed cost-effective, environmentally sustainable synthesis of ZnO nanoparticles employing agricultural-waste derived starch as a capping agent, demonstrating equivalent optical and structural properties to conventional synthetic polymers (PVP/PVA). This research validates a scalable, sustainable methodology for functional nanomaterial production with direct applications in photovoltaic devices
